How Negozee is Empowering Latino Entrepreneurs with Community and Knowledge

In the diverse landscape of Latino entrepreneurship, one platform stands out for its unique approach to fostering business success: Negozee. Co-founded by Antonio Martínez, Guillermo Will DeJesús and Cristina Villanueva, Negozee is America’s largest social business network dedicated to Latino professionals. With a mission to connect, educate, and support Latino entrepreneurs, Negozee is revolutionizing the way Latino business owners navigate the complexities of the U.S. business environment.

Negozee was created with a clear vision: to provide Latino entrepreneurs with the resources they need to thrive. Recognizing the challenges many Latino business owners face, including a lack of trust, connections, and understanding of the U.S. financial system, Negozee offers a comprehensive platform that addresses these gaps. Everything on Negozee is in Spanish, making it the first professional social media network of its kind in the United States.

At the heart of Negozee's offering is a robust suite of educational resources. The platform provides users with access to webinars, informative talks, and a variety of events designed to help business owners develop essential skills. Topics covered include business organization, marketing strategies, preparing for loans, and more. Negozee also offers continuing education credits and advice specifically tailored for tax professionals, ensuring that users are well-equipped to handle the financial aspects of their businesses.

One of Negozee's core strengths is its focus on community building. By connecting Latino entrepreneurs across the country, Negozee facilitates valuable networking opportunities. Members can share experiences, offer support, and collaborate on projects, creating a supportive environment that fosters growth and innovation.

Negozee keeps its members up to date with the latest news and trends affecting their businesses through a regularly updated news section, blog posts, and video content. Whether members prefer reading articles, taking part in Zoom chats, attending in-person events, or watching videos, Negozee offers multiple formats to cater to different learning preferences.

Why was Negozee created? How does it address the unique challenges faced by Latino entrepreneurs?

Negozee: The business social network for the Hispanic community in the United States, Negozee, was created to help Latino entrepreneurs succeed in this country. While it is true that 1 in 2 businesses close within two years of opening, the closure cycle for Hispanic businesses is reduced to one year of life, and this is due to the challenges faced by immigrants who decide to open a business in the world's first economy: overcoming the language barrier, understanding the business ecosystem and the laws. This is why Negozee offers a platform 100% in Spanish aimed to guide entrepreneurs to navigate their business journey on the most efficient and legal road.

How has your background and experience influenced the development of Negozee?

Negozee: The three founders of Negozee, Antonio Martínez, Guillermo Will DeJesús and Cristina Villanueva, come from Latino roots and in their extensive business backgrounds have served numerous clients within their communities, clients who have faced and overcome various challenges thanks to their services as business consultants. It is this combined experience of more than 20 years that helped them learn first-hand about the barriers that the Latino community faces when it comes to entrepreneurship and designing the solutions that the Hispanic community need.

Antonio Martínez is a seasoned entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience in the business world. He is passionate about helping Latino entrepreneurs achieve their dreams.

Guillermo Will DeJesús, CPA is a certified public accountant with over 15 years of experience in the financial industry. He is an expert in helping businesses manage their finances and grow strategy.

Cristina Villanueva is an operations and tax industry expert with over 10 years of experience. She is passionate about helping Latina women to scale their businesses.

Can you share a success story from the Negozee community that highlights the platform's impact on Latino entrepreneurs?

Negozee: We are proud to share success stories from our vibrant community of Latino entrepreneurs who have benefited from Negozee’s resources and support. One inspiring example is Estrella Rojas, a member of our community who turned her personal and professional experiences into a thriving business.

Estrella, originally from a small village in Guanajuato, Mexico, faced significant challenges when she moved to the United States, including working in jobs where workers were often mistreated due to their undocumented status. Motivated by her experiences, she decided to empower her community by offering services such as tax preparation, accounting, payroll, and business formation. With the support of Negozee’s platform, Estrella was able to grow her business through community engagement and word-of-mouth, helping many individuals navigate complex financial regulations.
Her story is a testament to the power of resilience, community support, and the importance of providing accessible resources for entrepreneurs. At Negozee, we are committed to continuing to foster a supportive environment where Latino entrepreneurs like Estrella can thrive and achieve their business goals.
