Jaime Nacach, a seasoned entrepreneur, marketer, and self-taught tech expert, is the proud founder and CEO of
Virtual Latinos. Born in Mexico City and raised in San Diego, California, Jaime brings a rich cultural background and a deep understanding of both Latin American and North American markets to his ventures.
With a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, specializing in Information Systems Management from SDSU, and an MBA from Tel Aviv University in Israel, Jaime is driven by a passion for innovation and a desire to empower businesses and professionals. His entrepreneurial journey led to the establishment of two successful enterprises:
Bloominari, a digital marketing agency, and Virtual Latinos (VL), a pioneering recruitment agency that connects the North with the South.
To date, VL has built a community of over 10,000 top-tier remote professionals from Latin America and empowered over 1,000 businesses to reach higher levels of freedom and success, setting new industry standards.
CEO Jaime Nacach embarked on a journey that reshaped the concept of his version of offshoring through his company Virtual Latinos. Jaime reveals his motivations and the evolution of his business model, rooted in his marketing expertise and a quest for efficiency without compromising quality.
Initially inspired by the rise of offshoring practices typically associated with countries like India, Jaime innovated the concept of ‘nearshoring’, emphasizing the geographical and cultural proximity of Latin America to the United States. "Technically speaking, hiring people in Latin America is called near-shoring because it's really in this case, geographically speaking, the same physically connected continent. There is a wealth of talent right near our own shores," he says. This led to the creation of Virtual Latinos in 2015, a marketing agency turned into a standalone venture aiming to provide high-quality professionals from Latin America, catering to the US market's demand for cost-effective and culturally aligned talent. "The business really ran out of my own needs to build something for my marketing agency."
The company's success has been marked by its meticulous approach to vetting candidates, ensuring only the top 5% of applicants are accepted, and ultimately hiring the top 1%. Jaime emphasizes, “This dedication to quality and personalized service has set Virtual Latinos apart in an industry often plagued by standard recruitment practices.”
As the business thrived and expanded, challenges emerged, with the need to navigate growth, people management, and technological advancements. Despite these hurdles, Virtual Latinos attained notable growth, earning a spot on the Inc 5000 list and establishing a diverse internal team of over 130 professionals.
Jaime's journey, intertwined with his business narrative, reflects a deep-rooted connection to family and a cautious approach to money influenced by his family's financial history. “Wealth transcends monetary value and encompasses the enrichment derived from personal relationships and the ability to provide for my family's needs.”
Looking towards the future, Jaime envisions his legacy as one centered on connecting individuals and fostering improved personal relationships, a guiding philosophy that extends from his personal life to the core mission of Virtual Latinos. “Through partnerships and a commitment to shared values and goals, I want to continue steering Virtual Latinos towards sustainable growth and impact.”
As Jaime continues to navigate the complexities of entrepreneurship and wealth, his journey serves as a testament to resilience, adaptability, and a steadfast commitment to creating meaningful impact globally.
