The 2022 State of Hispanic Wealth Report benchmarks how Latinos are faring when it comes to wealth creation, focusing on progress when it comes to net worth, income, homeownership, employer business growth, and the diversification of assets.
This year’s report highlights how networks, narrowing knowledge gaps, and a zealous community’s pursuit of the American dream can offer a roadmap for closing the wealth gap. Leveraging culturally relevant financial education and the HWP wealth disciplines, also known as the NAHREP 10, NAHREP serves as a case study, offering a roadmap for other networks in increasing homeownership, scaling small businesses, and diversifying investments.

The State of Hispanic Homeownership Report®️ is a publication of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals®️.
The report is an industry benchmark that coalesces a broad cross-section of data and research from within and outside of the housing industry. The report provides an analysis of how the U.S. Hispanic population is faring with respect to attainment of homeownership in America. Additionally, it highlights Hispanic consumer nuances, purchase power, and trends, and provides insight into major factors that contributed to the story of Hispanic homeownership in the U.S. over the past year.

HWP Blueprint
The Hispanic Wealth Project is a bold plan to triple Hispanic household wealth in ten years. For most Americans and for Hispanic Americans, in particular homeownership and household wealth are interdependent elements of an “ecosystem” that includes employment, income, credit, savings and more.
By understanding the dynamics within this ecosystem, we can continue to advocate for sustainable Hispanic homeownership through programs, policies and initiatives that not only propose direct outcomes, but also enhance the context for overall Hispanic economic progress.
