Garcia's commitment to empowering immigrant success stories underscores his belief in creating a stronger, more vibrant economy for future generations. He shares his thoughts about wealth creation with Wealth Stream News.

Wealth Stream News: Carlos, it's a pleasure to have you here with us today. Can you share with us the story behind the creation of Finhabits?

Carlos García: Absolutely. My journey with Finhabits stems from my upbringing in the vibrant communities of El Paso and Ciudad Juárez, where hard work and sacrifice were fundamental values instilled by my parents. After spending years on Wall Street, I recognized the need for accessible financial planning tools, especially within minority communities like the one I grew up in. Inspired by the lack of resources available to my own family, I founded Finhabits to make investing and saving for retirement simpler and more inclusive, leveraging technology to bridge the gap.

Wealth Stream News: Your dedication to empowering others through financial education is truly commendable. Could you walk us through some of the key milestones, opportunities, and challenges you've encountered along this journey?

Carlos García: Growing up in a diverse environment, I witnessed firsthand the disparities in financial services and the lack of trust within minority communities. This fueled my mission to cultivate long-term financial habits through Finhabits. Our platform provides guidance and nudges to help first-time investors build a secure future. However, breaking down barriers and fostering trust remains a challenge. Nonetheless, every milestone, from being recognized by Fast Company to relocating our headquarters, brings us closer to our goal of financial inclusivity.

Wealth Stream News: That's truly inspiring. Now, could you share some practical tools and tips for those who are embarking on their wealth-building journey?

Carlos García: Of course. Firstly, diversifying investments in low-cost index funds is key. Additionally, using dollar-cost averaging by investing regularly can mitigate risks. Lastly, understanding market cycles and capitalizing on opportunities when others may shy away can lead to long-term growth.

Wealth Stream News: Those are invaluable insights. Reflecting on your journey, is there anything or anyone you wish you had known earlier?

Carlos García: If I could go back, I would advise my younger self to understand that investing is a habit that improves with time. Starting early and consistently building smart financial habits is crucial for long-term success.

Wealth Stream News: Wise words indeed. How would you define wealth, considering your unique perspective?

Carlos García: Wealth to me is not just financial prosperity but also encompasses achieving financial independence while maintaining a fulfilling lifestyle surrounded by loved ones.

Wealth Stream News: Lastly, Carlos, how would you like your wealth legacy to be remembered?

Carlos García: I hope to be remembered as someone who democratized access to Wall Street for every American, ensuring that financial empowerment is within reach for all.

Wealth Stream News: Thank you, Carlos, for sharing your journey and insights with us. Before we conclude, is there any additional advice you'd like to offer to those embarking on their wealth-building journey?

Carlos García: Absolutely. Remember to share your knowledge and wealth with others, especially within your own family. By uplifting those around us, we contribute to a more equitable and prosperous future for all.
